A little bit about my fitness journey…
A couple of years ago I was babysitting my granddaughter, going through health coach school, and working 3 evenings a week. I was losing the equivalent of a whole night of sleep each week. It took me 2 years to hit burnout. As a health coach I knew I had to make some lifestyle changes, so I left my part-time job and started getting a solid 8 hours of sleep EVERY night.
And then I started gaining weight. I had zero energy and no motivation to exercise. It took me 5 months of rest, healthy nutrition, and supplements to regain some energy and feel like myself again. I had used Beachbody workouts prior to starting my part-time job and I knew they worked. I just stopped working out when I got so busy. I knew it was time to start moving my body again.
Two things happened as soon as I made that decision. First, I saw an ad for Beachbody On Demand. Oh, happy day…no more dvd’s! The ability to stream any workout I wanted to do, whenever it’s convenient for me, wherever I happen to be! Then I found out that a friend of mine had just recently become a coach and was loving it. I can totally take a hint from the Divine, so I signed on myself as a Discount Coach.
What I love most, as a health coach, is that Beachbody provides healthy meal plans with each of the workouts. There are also meal plans available through My Meal Planner that include the recipes and, get this…the shopping list, too. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
